11 BISD basketball players named all-district
A total of 11 Boerne ISD boys basketball players – 7 from Boerne Champion and 4 from Boerne High – were recognized as all-district selections for the 2025-26 season.
Champion sophomore Gavin Peck was voted the 26-5A MVP, while sophomore Travis Clark and senior Nik Georgelos were named to the first team, senior Reid Reddy landed on the second team and junior Gaege Hankins, sophomore Will Kliesing and freshman Nick Plummer were named honorable mention.
For Boerne High, senior Julien Hartman was a first-team selection, junior Noa Sanchez was named to the second team, while junior Bo Pape and junior Slade Salinas were selected as honorable mention players.
The Greyhounds finished the year at 5-11 in rugged 26-5A and went 15- 19 overall, while the Chargers went 12-4 in league play and were 26-10 overall.
Peck set a new single- game scoring record for the Chargers and tallied 45 points against Veterans Memorial. Champion opened the postseason with a 44-43 win over Leander in the first round but lost Peck due to a foot injury and fell in the next round to Southwest Legacy, 40-36.
