Boerne Champion was on the road last Friday for a district volleyball match with Harlandale and won in three sets.
The Chargers swept the Indians, 25-11, 25-18, 25-18, and improved to 2-0 in district (22-5 overall).
Champion hosted Antonian Tuesday in a non-district match and resumes league play Friday at South San.
In last Friday’s match against the Lady Bobcats, Finley Weikle finished with 13 kills, Abby Marizcurrena added 8 kills, Addison Menden had 6 kills, while Brielle Boothe and Lileyan Rounds both chipped in with 5 kills.
Brielle Boothe recorded 3 aces and Seyla Boothe dropped in 2 aces, Olivia Sansone came up with 2 blocks, Brady Cooksey registered 15 digs and 27 assists, while Hannah Perez was also in double digits with a dozen digs.
