• FAMILY NIGHT HIKE: Experience a sunset family hike from 7:45-9:15 p.m. at The Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road, designed for little legs and curious minds. $30 per family; bring parents, grandparents, and kids for an evening of outdoor learning and fun.

• TEXAS TREASURES 15th Anniversary Art Show runs April 9-12 at 159 N. Main St. The Gallery Spring Show allows visitors to meet guest artists, watch live painting and sculpting demonstrations.

APRIL 11

• CARS, COFFEE & CIGARS: Automotive enthusiasts are invited to Cars, Coffee & Cigars at The Oak, 605 S. Main St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., to enjoy coffee and pastries while admiring special cars on display and connecting with others.

• COMFORT’S “WHY OLD Places Matter” historic self-guided tours run 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Comfort Heritage Foundation, the self-paced walkable, drivable tours include 10 spots of historic, cultural and architectural significance. Starting point is the Heritage foundation building at 7th and High streets. Tickets are $35 and available the day of the event.

• AUTHOR ALLEY by the Boerne Bookshop, from 1-5 p.m. in the alley that leads to The Boerne Bookshop from Main Street. Local authors will set up to promote their books each month. Details: 830-249-0000.

• NATURE MAKERS at Herff Farm: Join this program from 11:30 a.m. to 1p.m. at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road. Session will include a seasonal, hands-on educational lesson, and a fun, movement-based activity designed to inspire families to connect with nature.

• STRAWBERRY SOCIAL BRUNCH: Celebrate the sweetness of spring at The Dienger, 210 N. Main St. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. be part of a guided floral arrangement class and spring brunch experience featuring endless mimosas. Tickets $45. To register, call 830-331-2225.

• ADULT NIGHT HIKE: Explore the Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road, after dark on a Sunset Night Hike for Adults, featuring longer routes on lesser-known trails and time without flashlights to observe nocturnal wildlife. Hike is from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. at $15 per adult.

• NONPROFIT LUNCH BUNCH meeting: Nonprofit members of the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce are invited to this noon to 1 p.m. lunch bunch, designed to connect Kendall County nonprofit leaders, encourage open communication, and create opportunities for peer mentorship and collaboration across the community. • COMBAT HERO BIKE Build: Join CHBB at Ironwood Events at Von Erich Ranch, 1637 FM 476, from 1-3 p.m. as we celebrate SPC Reas Axtell, U.S. Army, retired, receiving his custom motorcycle. Free and welcome to the public.
