The 5A state tennis tourney is being held Thursday and Friday in San Antonio and Boerne ISD had four entries – three from Boerne High and one from Champion.
Boerne’s Aidan Cebe won his quarterfinals match in boys singles and plays in the semis Friday morning.
Boerne’s Gavin Cebe and Nick Dube won in boys doubles in the quarterfinals and play in the 5A state semis Friday morning.
Finals are in the afternoon.
Also for Boerne High, Justin Barraza and Paytin Johndrow were defeated in mixed doubles.
For Champion, Alexandra Morris was the only entry for the Chargers and lost in girls singles.
