Comfort’s Carter Pape earned silver at the 3A state track and field meet in the long jump with a leap of 23-11.25 for 2nd place.
Comfort’s other athlete at state, Molly Gowan tied for 6th in the high jump after she cleared 5-2.
Boerne ISD athletes will compete at state on Friday.
